More About Chessington

The adventure doesn’t stop here.

There’s so much more to Chessington World of Adventures Resort than exotic animals and exciting rides:

Theme Park

With nine fun-filled themed lands and over 40 awesome rides and attractions, the theme park has something for adventurers of all ages. Take a spin on KOBRA in the heart of Wild Asia, brave the fiery Dragon’s Fury, discover the mystery of Tomb Blaster in Forbidden Kingdom or take a flight through the trees with the Vampire in Transylvania. There are also numerous interactive shows and both animal and character meet and greets throughout the day. To top it all off there are a whole host of food outlets offering a diverse range of delicious meals and snacks to suit all tastes. And because there’s always something new and exciting in the pipeline, the adventure gets better every year.

The Zoo is where it all started and to this day it remains a great place to get up close and personal with an array of different animals.  There’s just so much for the whole family to explore - meet mischievous meerkats, come nose to nose with sharks and rays in the spectacular SEA LIFE centre or roar with the lions in the Trail of the Kings. But it offers even more than that - it’s also a fun place to learn. And with a team who are at the forefront of conservation in the UK and who travel the world to do their bit for endangered species, there’s no one better to learn from.

SEA LIFE centre

The SEA LIFE centre at Chessington World of Adventures Resort is brimming with fun – and our explorers don’t just discover the deep through the glass. Come nose to nose with sharks and rays and join in with daily talks and feeding sessions. Guests can discover a range of sea creatures in the interactive rock pools before getting up close and personal with a variety of species from seahorses to clownfish, jelly fish to piranhas.

Safari-themed rooms mean that, at the Chessington Resort, the fun doesn’t stop when the park shuts for the night. Movie nights, a Nintendo Wii room and enjoying dishes from our African-inspired menus in the Zafari Bar and Grill restaurant are all part of the adventure of staying at our hotel. More than that, we have leisure club complete with gym and pool for those who still have bags of energy after trekking through the park. The leisure club even caters for those looking for some relaxation with its sauna, steam room and spa pool for hotel guests to relax in. In fact, top that off with impressive corporate facilities that also allow us to host conferences of all sizes, there’s not much our hotel doesn’t offer.
